TuneLink Auto BlueTooth Streamer is Now Available for Android Devices

New Potato Technologies has outed TuneLink Auto Bluetooth in-vehicle streaming device for iOS devices with a version for Android smartphones.Similar to the iDevice model, this one will rely on a Bluetooth transceiver and an FM transmitter when it comes to wireless streaming of audio from an Android device to a vehicle’s sound system.

Just like the previous device, this one uses a Bluetooth transceiver and an FM transmitter for wireless streaming of audio from an Android device to a vehicle’s sound system. There is also a 3.5mm audio jack for a direct connection, along with a USB charging port.

In order to pair your handset with the TuneLink, you will first need to download a free app from the Android Market, where it also makes the entire interface process cleaner for sorting through tracks and selecting the FM stations for the FM transmitter. With New Potato’s Humbuster noise elimination, it theoretically prevents any engine or electrical noise from interfering with its connection.

TuneLink is compatible with all Android-powered devices that have A2DP Bluetooth built-in. The accessory arrives in mid-January for $100.

Your car doesn’t need bluetooth. The bluetooth from your mobile phone connects to the bluetooth on this device. Your music is then streamed from your phone via bluetooth to the device then sent to your radio via FM transmitter. Just pair your phone with the device, then set the fm channel on the device and match your radio to the fm channel.
