Many of us love to play video games on PSP while we are traveling, but carrying two devices such as smartphone and PSP inside the pocket can be very hard and that’s why it would be great if we could merge those two devices into one, right? Well it is possible, thanks to an emulator called PPSSPP you can play your favorite PSP games directly on your Android device and in this tutorial I will show you how.
To get started follow steps below:
Step 1: Visit Google Play store at this location and download and install PPSSPP app for free.
Step 2: Since the app does not include any PSP games files you will need to copy your ISO to your Android phone and then mount them with this app.
Step 3: When you lunch the app you don’t have too many options to play with. First tap on Settings.
Step 4: Tap on Show Analog Stick and then tap on Back.
Step 5: Next tap on Load.
Step 6: Browse your folders and locate the ISO file of your PSP game. Once you tap on that ISO file, the emulator will start the game.
Step 7: Wait for few seconds and minutes until game is fully loaded and you are ready to play.
Let us note that PPSSPP app should work on all modern Android devices and it was confirmed that it works on following:
- Nexus One
- Nexus S
- Nexus 7
- Galaxy Nexus
- Galaxy S2
- Galaxy S3
- Galaxy Note
- Galaxy Note 2
- Xperia Play
- Asus Transformer
- Ainol Novo7 Advanced II
The list of compatible games is not too large for now but it will expand as the app continues to receive its updates. Visit this page to see a list of all PSP games that this game can run.

If this utility supports also older Android device then we could buy kids Android device, and will serve both purpose.
