This tutorial will show you how it is possible to speed up the start of the Internet Explorer 9 web browser by preventing the creation of a homepage, which may not be useful if you don’t use it. This trick goes beyond a simple change in the web browser settings with the choice of a blank page on startup, since no page is created here, which saves time and speed up browser opening.
To get started follow below steps
Step 1: Right click on the Windows desktop and from context menu that appear select New -> Shortcut
Step 2: A new window appears. In the Type the location of the item field enter following path “C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe” -nohome and click Next
Step 3: Finally give the name for your shortcut e.g. “Faster IE Lunch” and click Finish
