Firefox is one of the most popular browsers out there and it is always working on new features and upgrades for the browser. The beta version of firefox 4 will be landed soon but the final version which was said to release next month will be late.
However, new beta milestones will be released through December as bugs in the browser are fixed by the developers.Mike Beltzner posting to the Mozilla.dev.planning points out that development is constant on Firefox 4 and progress is being made daily. The final launch date of Firefox 4 will come after the RC lands in early 2011. Beltzner wrote, “The frequent beta releases have been extremely helpful in identifying compatibility issues with existing web content, so we plan on continuing to release beta milestones through the end of December. Our estimate is now that release candidate builds will ship in early 2011, with a final release date close behind. Please note that, as always, this schedule is subject to change based on feedback from users and community members.”
