iOS App Store Down, iOS Users Can’t Download New Apps

Server down or website down is nothing new in the internet world. But, if that happens to a renowned company or its website, then that’s bad. And if that happens without any notification, then its simply worse. The same happened to Apple App Store. As Apple’s App Store went down for few hours, iOS users from all over the world failed to download any apps.

On July 21, Apple App Store went down for few hours. During that downtime, iOS users who tried to download new apps or perform updates on their iOS supported device failed to do that. While iOS users were trying to download apps, they found a notification “Cannot connect to iTunes Store” The iTunes displayed “iTunes Store is temporarily unavailable.”

It’s known that when a new app or update is added for download on an iOS device, app transfers are completely blocked. The developers contacted by The Next Web even don’t know when Apple will shut down (temporarily) the App Store for maintenance purpose.

To our knowledge, people from the US, UK, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, Indonesia and Kuwait suffered for this sudden unavailability of the App Store. Is it, the service is temporarily down as Apple is having performance maintenance on the App Store? Or there could be some other reason?

Apple hasn’t mentioned anything regarding this. As soon as we come to know, we’ll let you guys know.
