Facebook has confirmed that the recent email address change of all Facebook users @facebook.com has been caused by a software bug. When users has asked to Facebook about this issue then they did not refuse it, rather said that they were conscious when the thing had happened. An official from Facebook says, a software bug is fully responsible for automatically changing contacts’ email addresses.
Facebook said that outrage caused by automatic change of email addresses to @facebook.com was actually caused by a software bug. However, the naysayers believed that the action might have been triggered deliberately by Facebook. Some also believe that there was a major defect which Facebook did not publish. The social network giant said, the company is working on to fix the issue for some devices.
