Google+ was launched as an invitation-only “field test” in June 2011. Now it has become a popular social network. It has added a new feature for the users. Now users can set animated GIFs as profile picture on Google+.
In an official announcement on Monday afternoon Google wrote, “Our gif to you. You can now use animated gifs for your profile photo” on their Google+ page.
After announcing this service many Google+ users termed the feature just “awesome”. The animated gif profile picture will in both desktop and mobile version. This feature will be available through updates for Google Plus’ mobile app.
