Pinterest is one of the fastest-growing social networks which has a deep emphasis on visual presentation of content and is actively used by most brands. The social network recently became unavailable for many users, apparently due to a technical glitch.
The problem started over the weekned when users started reporting that they could no longer access Pinterest. Before soon, Pinterest posted on its Facebook page that there is some technical problem with the site which may bar some users from accessing it.
According to the company, “You might’ve had some trouble using Pinterest lately, and we’ve been working hard to get everything back to normal.” Interestingly, Pinterest didn’t state exactly what kind of issues it was facing and whether or not the users had any reason to be concerned over the outage.
Before soon, normal access to the site was restored for all users. The most interesting thing about the Pinterest outage is that people who commented on the Pinterest page on Facebook, were very praising of the site and said that the company’s attempt to connect with its users over the brief outage is a gesture of goodwill others can learn from.
From the looks of it, it would appear that Pinterest enjoys a far better rapport with its users compared to other social networks such as Facebook or LinkedIn.
