Korean microelectronics standardization body JEDEC Solid State Technology Association has ratified next-generation DDR4 SDRAM standard. The new development was announced through a press release on September 25. The JEDEC DDR4 (JESD79-4) standard has been defined to ensure higher performance with improved reliability and reduced power.
