VIA Introduces APC Android PC System For $49

Taiwanese chip maker VIA Technologies has introduced an APC Android PC system. It is a $49 low power desktop computer system which will run on a modified version of Android 2.3. The APC is powered by WonderMedia ARM 800MHz processor. It also has 512MB of DDR3 memory, 2GB of flash storage. It has full set of consumer I/O features in a small footprint Neo-ITX motherboard which can be connected to a TV or monitor to output resolution of up to 720p. The APC will be accepting pre-orders soon and it will be shipped in early July 2012 for just $49.
