Lovers of music rejoice. It has come to our attention that Microsoft might be planning something new and exciting for you, in the form of a new music service, that can be integrated to work with Xbox and a shady upcoming Windows based phone. As we know so far, Microsoft hasn’t had the best of luck in the digital music business. Take for example the Zune service which was pretty much ignored by the general public. Microsoft’s Kinect has jolted the company into the realm of motion-sensor hardware products. Initially, Microsoft developed it only as an auxiliary to Xbox 360 but given the immense popularity of Kinect and the fact that many hailed it as an excellent motion-sensor device, Microsoft has apparently decided to launch it with it’s other mainstream products. We have already heard of Kinect working with Windows. Now we have Kinect for Windows Media Center, an app which is available for $6.99.

Zynga Posts $311 Million Q4 Earning But Still Deals With Loss

The creator of FarmVillle, the social gaming company Zynga made it clear that it exceeded Wall Street predictions, when it published its quarterly earnings for Q4 of 2011. This week Zynga announced its first financial results as a public company. It turns out it has added up to $311.2 million of revenue. Analysts estimates weren’t too far fetched either – with $301.08 million – but every battle won, brings victory one step closer.

PlayStation Vita Ad Campaign Launched By Sony

Sony, who was once among the top giants of the gaming industry, has been struggling of late. The gaming industry has well moved on to smartphone and other plethora of other devices, not to mention the crown that is being held by Microsoft’s Xbox 360, a crown which may stay for now given that Kinect is now available for gamers. Nonetheless, Sony has released the next big thing from it’s end. It is already available in Japan and now you can buy it in US within a week or so.
