According to a bizarre new analyst report, he iPhone 5 will be launching in October with a few dramatic design changes and the most significant of which will apparently be sporting an aluminum unibody construction. The aluminum iPhone 5 will launch alongside a cheaper iPhone 4S and will allow Apple to grab an ever bigger slice of the smartphone market, analyst suggests that. Survey: Android Folks Are More Comfortable Switching To iPhones

Apple’s embattled iPhone has had tough time competing against the legions of Android handsets that have flooded the market. According to a survey done by UBS Research, 31 percent of Android users are contemplating a switch to iPhone. iPhone is “sticky” like no other phone, with an average retention rate of 89 percent. While the sample size is very small, it does give us a view into broader trends in the smartphone market.
