Xbox Live May Get Diamond Subscription Service

Microsoft’s rumored Xbox Live TV subscription is about to get its public showing next week and Diamond should be shown off at E3 as long as the deals are in place. The system hasn’t been directly confirmed, but Microsoft’s corporate communications lead Frank Shaw explained that Xbox would focus on entertainment in the near future after already including ESPN, Hulu Plus, Netflix and the Zune Marketplace, is expected to behave like a pseudo-cable channel that would stream shows, though not necessarily live…………

Microsoft will add Hulu Plus service to Xbox 360 on today, locking the premium on-demand video service behind its Xbox Live Gold paywall and the new system works with Microsoft’s Kinect motion-sensing system, allowing you to speak voice commands or wave your arm in the air to pause, fast forward, rewind or play a Hulu Plus show.The subscription video service features current television programming from networks including ABC, NBC, CBS Fox, MTV and other, subscription costs $7.99 a month with limited advertising, but all Xbox Live users will receive a free trial until May 6 thanks to a partnership with Jack Link’s Beef Jerky………..
