Mount Everest is the highest mountain of Earth, having a height of 8,848 m (29,029 ft). It is located in the Mahalangur section of the Himalayas. Lately, space agency NASA’s Earth Observatory satellite has captured amazing image of this highest mountain of the Earth from space.
Safe landing on a planet or on a moon for any space probe is a difficult task.Keeping that in mind, NASA is making a superb robot called the Super Ball Bot that would be able to land on a planet or moon safely even though it lands in a similar way to dropping a ball.
Although Microsoft’s Kinect and the Oculus Rift hardware were both meant for the gaming world, they have found a use in more advanced industries. NASA, for instance, is using both of these components in controlling space-bound robots.
In 1968, on Christmas Eve, astronaut William Anders took a photograph of the Earth within Apollo 8. This photo is called Earthrise. On the occasion of 45th anniversary of Earthrise, NASA has released more than 17,000 photos captured from that and following Apollo missions.

On December 24, 1968, Apollo 8 was orbiting the moon when the astronauts on board spotted the stunning scene of Earth rising above moon’s surface and captured it with a camera. NASA has now recreated this historical occasion in a video which shows how and where the image was taken.
NASA astronauts have fixed the critical cooling line leakage at ISS. But while repairing the critical cooling line leakage at ISS, an astronaut experienced an issue with his spacesuit and hence, NASA has delayed its next repairing.

NASA has sent two astronauts at ISS to fix the critical cooling line leakage for which NASA had to shut down all non-essential equipment inside the ISS. Today, the astronauts have completed the first stage of repairing cooling line leakage at ISS for 6.5-hour spacewalking.
Lately, a cooling line at the ISS has been leaked and to fix that, two American astronauts will be sent into space this weekend. As a safety precaution, NASA has developed snorkels for those astronauts, if ‘just in case’ their helmets fill up with water while repairing the cooling line.
