Briefly after Google announced Play Store movies, TV shows, and music would launch on the Google TV this month, they also posted a sneak-peek video of an update for the TV-platform. Apparently the posting was an accident because they made the video private shortly later. Tech examiners discovered that Google TV would be updated with a sweet voice-control feature while the video was up for viewing.

Best Buy Displaying Windows 8 PCs In Stores, Taking Pre-Order

Microsoft has opened pre-order of Windows 8 Pro upgrade edition in retails, and has given a green light to OEM partners to start taking pre-order of Windows 8 devices. Several partners including Acer, Asus, Dell, HP, Samsung and Sony have already opened their Windows 8 portfolio for early birds. Among major retailers, Best Buy is the first to catch up. It is not only taking pre-orders online, but displaying Windows PCs in stores.

Ever since the Swedish courts incriminated Pirate Bay co-founders over the creation of a file-sharing platform, nearly all of them have been forced to a keep a low-profile and move out of Sweden. One of the co-founders, Fredrik Neij, had his passport revoked by the Swedish Embassy in Bangkok. He appealed against it and now, the court has decided in his favor.
