The patent fights between Samsung and Apple are nothing new. Earlier, there had been news that executives from both companies are due to meet to resolve these disagreements but apparently, nothing good has come of it and both are still involved in a rather childish fight, essentially hinging on to tiny things and very vague claims.
As we draw closer to the WWDC 2012 where Apple is expected to make a lot of important announcements, we have had numerous reports about the possible MacBook Pro models that may surface during the event. However, now an analysts with KGI, who has been a rather reliable source in the past, has stated that Apple will probably come up with a new line of notebooks, called simply MacBook.
When Apple released the new iPad, it has been branding the tablet as capable of supporting 4G networks around the world. However, as it turned out, this was not true for Australian 4G networks due to which iPad users in Australia lodged complains over Apple’s misleading advertisements.

While they are already a number of rumors as to what Apple may unveil at the event, a new rumor now suggests that Apple may announce Baidu as default iOS search engine for Chinese users at the event.
Samsung said earlier that the Galaxy S III will be available in the United States starting this month from five carriers, including AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless and US Cellular. But the rival company Apple Inc. is trying to hinder sales of Samsung’s latest Galaxy smartphones in the United States. Apple has requested to a federal judge to block sales of Samsung products including their upcoming Galaxy SIII.
Apple’s WorldWide Developers Conference is due to start on June 11 this year. And in anticipation for the grand event where Apple is expected to unveil a whole lot of things including iOS 6 and potentially a refresh for MacBook Pro lineup, Apple has started decorating the venue.
A lot of rumors had been doing their rounds regarding Apple’s upcoming iPhone. Some of these claimed that Apple will be using a rather new material, called liquid metal, in its next iPhone. The liquid was to be furnished by Liquidmetal Technology, the company headed by Tom Steipp as its CEO. Now, Steipp has confirmed that Apple has future plans with liquid metal.
It has been previously reported that Apple is working on a mapping solution of its own which it intends to offer to iOS users as an alternative to Google Maps. Some have speculated that Apple will be unveiling this solution in iOS 6 which Apple may announce during WWDC 2012. Now, Wall Street Journal has reported that Apple will launch this mapping solution in the later part of this year.
