Google Instant is a new search enhancement that shows results as you type and Google appears to be testing yet another redesign of its search engine, incorporating a new stylish colour scheme but also moving website links to a new position, underneath the title. The redesign isn’t available to all users and it comes just days after the search giant announced it was to roll out new features for both mobile and desktop search users. Adobe Air End Support For Linux

Adobe has decided to end official support for the Linux version of Adobe Integrated Runtime (AIR) owing to the limited popularity of Linux as a desktop operating system and no signs that it will become more popular in the future and AIR 2.6 incidentally was the last release of the platform for desktop version of Linux. AIR allows programmers to create cross platform applications and a host of popular apps are built around the adobe runtime environment, including Tweetdeck, iPlayer and more. Analysts believe that it makes more sense for Adobe to focus on Google’s Android OS and iOS which are steadily increasing their market share and Linux has only gained about a percent of market share in that time, so it’s no surprise that a sliver of PC users are no longer a priority……….

MacBook Air: $3 Billion Dollar Oppurtunity to Apple

J.P. Morgan hardware analyst Mark Moskowitz has increased his assessment of the MacBook Air’s revenue opportunity from $2.2 billion to $3 billion-plus and Apple is expected to release a Sandy Bridge MacBook Air within the next month or so and also would wait until Mac OS X Lion dropped before releasing any new hardware. Other vendors will chase the size and weight and functionality of the Air, because that class of laptop offers many of the benefits of tablet computing, such as being lighter, thinner, having quick boot times and Apple’s iCloud offering could help turn Apple‘s ultra-thin MacBook Air into a $3 billion-a-year business, even as sales of fatter notebooks and desktop computers stagnate………..
