MIT Brings Google App Inventor Back As Open-Source Project

Google App Inventor was an application designed by Google that allowed users to create software applications for the Android operating system. It used a graphical interface similar to Scratch and StarLogo TNG, allowing people to drag-and-drop visual objects to create an application targeted to run on Android systems. But Google App Inventor was terminated on December 31st, 2011. But MIT Center for Mobile Learning is planning to bring it back again.

Sprint Galaxy Nexus One Step Closer – Google Launches Sign-up Page

Users have been very anxiously awaiting the launch of the flagship Android device, Galaxy Nexus, to launch on Sprint. The European Union Targeting Facebook and Google With Data Protection Act

First there was SOPA. And now the European Union might go down the same road. A new data protection act due to be released officially this week. Reuters has managed to get its hands on a draft and stated that the rules are tighter and very rigorous. The act targets big companies like Facebook, attacking the much debated privacy issues. If the big boys won’t bow its head to the new laws imposed by the European Union, the act ensures that fines will be cashed in, for every rule violated.

Steve Jobs Emailed Google To Stop Poaching Apple Workers

Worker poaching is a norm in nearly every field around the globe. Google To Fund A Volcano Power Project In Oregon
