When Skype for Android was released few months back, only selected smartphones (Samsung Google Nexus S, Sony Ericsson Xperia neo, Sony Ericsson Xperia pro, and HTC Desire S) were compatible with Skype video calling feature. Recently, Skype has issued an update for Android users which brings two way video calling to majority of android devices.
The first national wireless carrier to launch the groundbreaking data speeds of 4G, Sprint announced with Samsung Telecommunications, the No. 1 mobile phone provider in the United States, Samsung Conquer 4G2. The Samsung-manufactured smartphone will hit the market on August 21st for $99.99 with contract. T-Mobile loses 150,000 customers this year and still working through its deal to merge with AT&T, the mobile network lost 50,000 customers in this second quarter alone. According to the report the carrier lost a total of 50,000 customers last quarter, which is actually an encouraging sign, considering it dropped a whopping 99,000 during Q1 and 93,000 during the second quarter of 2010. T-Mobile partly made it up in sales of pre-paid sales, as the pre-paid customer segment is rising in the company’s portfolio and AT&T is still pushing ahead with the acquisition of T-Mobile USA………….
Google has updated its web app for Gmail with the inclusion of pull down to refresh, new transitions and updated icons to take advantage of the Retina display of the iPhone 4 along with transitions between inbox, menu and conversations look as if one screen is sliding to another.
