The ViewSonic ViewPad 7x 7-inch Honeycomb Tablet adds HSPA+

The ViewSonic has just bring ViewPad 7x sneakily beating the pack to the title of having the globe’s first 7-inch Honeycomb Tablet. The ViewPad 7x (1024 x 600 resolution) managed to leak out earlier this month, but now it’s fully official with Google’s Android 3.0.1 OS, HSPA+ connectivity, and a pair of cameras, one on the front and one on the back. A Tegra 2 dual-core processor plus an HDMI-out have also been included inside a featherweight 380g package.

HP TouchPad WebOS Tablet Coming Wal-Mart

HP’s webOS-running TouchPad tablet, the 32GB, WiFi-only model to be exact has been found listed in Walmart’s inventory and no solid release date is given but the leaked page does give out a price tag $599, the same as the 32GB WiFi-only iPad. HP Touchpad uses the WebOS operating system, a fifth OS in a market currently dominated by Apple and Google that also features BlackBerry and tablets that run Windows 7………
