The rumors and speculation are starting to pour in and the most likely one so far is Facebook to launch Skype video chat this Wednesday. The product will include a desktop component, but it’s not clear if you will need the Skype desktop client or additional software and it will reportedly be an in-browser experience. Video calls would be a logical extension of Facebook chat and Facebook sent out invites for an event next week, where Mark Zuckerberg was clear the outfit would unveil a new product from its Seattle team………..

It took Apple 452 days to surpass the 100,000 iPad app mark to land at 100,161 dedicated iPad apps and the milestone comes a little over a year after Apple unveiled the original iPad. HTC Desire Finally Get Android 2.3 Gingerbread!
HTC Desire owners to make a 180-degree turn from their decision not to release the Android 2.3 Gingerbread update for said smartphone which is quite surprising considering the 24 hour turnaround time. As of June 14th, there’s just “not enough memory” in the Desire for Gingerbread to run properly. HTC UK’s Facebook page has mentioned that “Contrary to what we said earlier, we are going to bring Gingerbread to HTC Desire.”
