There’s been a lot of speculation over the last several months regarding Apple’s streaming music service ‘iRadio.’ It’s certainly a product that we’ve been hearing for a long time without getting any confirmation of its existence. But lately we’ve come to know that Apple plans to launch its ‘iRadio’ this summer.
An unnamed music industry insider told The Verge that, “iRadio is coming. There’s no doubt about it anymore.” The unnamed source also told that Apple is “pushing hard” to launch its “iRadio” sometime this summer after making “significant progress” in talks with two top labels, Universal and Warner.
Needless to say, if Apple manages to wrangle a deal with those two, the other players are bound to follow in the fear of missing out on a good thing. At the moment, it is unclear if the radio service will debut with the next iPhone or will be a separate launch.
