Motorola Droid XOOM Android Honeycomb Tablet Coming

Motorola’s Android Honeycomb tablet to be called Motorola DROID XOOM when it’s announced next week at CES.Motorola DROID XOOM will be available at Mobile World 2011 in February……..

Upcoming Motorola Honeycomb tablet will be called the DROID XOOM and famously demoed on-stage at the Dive Mobile event in December by lead Android man Andy Rubin himself, the device is expected to run Honeycomb Android 3.0, the biggest update to the OS yet, along with Nvidia’s fire-breathing Tegra 2 dual-core processor. The Xoom will likely be a member of Verizon’s DROID franchise which includes Motorola’s current DROID Pro, DROID X, and DROID2. Sadly, Droid-Life reports that the Xoom won’t be able to access Verizon’s new 4G LTE network which is indeed a bummer. The tablet may not benefit all that much from 4G  but it would be really sweet if it could act as a mobile 4G hotspot.Stay tuned for CES 2011.

Thanks
