Verizon Wireless has started rolling out Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) update for Samsung Galaxy Nexus devices. The roll out has officially began yesterday.
Want to know what are the new exciting features for the new Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) update brings to your devices? The update includes Photosphere that let users capture 360-degree panoramic pictures. There are more camera features like filters, borders, and other photo-customization options. The new gesture keyboard with the update allows for Swype-like typing. Another exciting feature added with the update will enable users to add widgets on lock screen; one can set a clock, a calendar, gmail app, or music player for quick and easy accessibility.
The GSM versions the device started receiving the update over the air last month, but no official announcement came at that time. Owners of other versions of the device will also get the chance to try their hands on Android 4.2.2 soon. The update will roll out in phases.
