Nokia Lumia 1020 is the latest flagship Windows Phone of Finnish smartphone manufacturer Nokia. This phone has already created a buzz around. The good news is mobile phone users in the United States interested in the purchase of a Nokia Lumia 1020 smartphone can now head over to AT&T’s website for that.
The Nokia Lumia 1020 weighs 158 grams and measures at 130.4 mm x 71.4 mm x 10.4 mm. This phone runs on the Windows Phone 8 operating system and features a 4.5-inch PureMotionHD+ touchscreen display with a resolution of 768 x 1280 and a 334 ppi (pixels per inch) density, a 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor inside and 2GB of RAM. Most importantly, the phone has a whooping 41-megapixel camera at the back which provide users a far better experience than before. In fact, the camera itself has been touted to be one of the best smartphone cameras to date.
Apart from these features, this phone has 1.2-megapixel front camera for video calling, 32GB of internal memory and a 2,000 mAh non-removable battery. The phone supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, and 4G LTE and 4G HSPA+ networks.
AT&T is taking pre-order for the Nokia Lumia 1020 for $299.99 along with signing a 2-year contract. Current AT&T subscribers can also purchase the Lumia 1020 alongside a one-year contract, at which point the price of the Windows Phone 8 handset goes up by $250 to $549.99. People will also be able to purchase the phone without any long-term commitment with AT&T for a price tag of $659.99.
Nokia Lumia 1020 will be available in black, white, or yellow shades. But there are whispers that a red version could be introduced to the masses soon.
