The U.S. cellphone carrier Sprint is now offering a unique personalized mobile phone numbering service labeled ‘StarStar Me.’ This innovative service will allow Sprint subscribers to ditch their traditional 10-digit phone numbers and use their name instead. For example, you may call your friend on Sprint using a number such as **RYANONGE (**79266643) or **SMITH (**76484).
StarStar Me will let Sprint users to choose a name, nickname, or word in place of a phone number. To find out the availability of your name, go to the StarStar Me portal. The cost of the service will be $2.99 per month.
Calls to StarStar Me numbers can be forwarded throughout the U.S. from any Sprint, Verizon, T-Mobile, or AT&T phone number. If you want to sign up for this unique service than you can visit sprint.starstar.me or call **ME (**63). Only Sprint customers can create their own StarStar Me numbers, and are limited to two per person.
The service offers a free Android application to manage ‘automatic text back,’ number blocking, and contact features. You can download the app on the Google Play store. “The goal of StarStar is to enhance people’s lives using simple technologies,” said Joe Gillespie, CEO of Zoove.
