Galaxy S III is the best-selling device of all time on T-Mobile, according to the mobile operator. T-Mobile USA revealed the information through a tweet in its official Twitter channel. While majority of consumers are falling for the iPhone, T-Mobile users are grabbing the best alternative – Samsung Galaxy S III.
When the threshold for the top spot was crossed by the Galaxy S III could not be deciphered, but we do know the figure safely passed the one-million milestone, based upon past T-Mobile sale numbers. The Samsung litigation with Apple late last summer seems to be of little effect on Galaxy S III sales.
Users of T-Mobile dig Samsung’s new Galaxy S III smartphone because of its shiny interface, NFC capabilities, and Android 4.0 operating system. The device began sales in the United States during June and have since tore-up the leader board among all carriers. Sales data even speculates the Galaxy S III sold more units in August than Apple.
T-Mobile, one of the smaller carriers available throughout the United States, has around 33.73 million subscribers. While considering many subscribers are locked into contracts, that one-million Galaxy S III units sold in three months is stunning. The market surely lacks signage of slowing down either.
