LG Officially Announced Optimus G Pro With 5.5-inch HD Display, Quad-Core CPU

LG has officially revealed Optimus G Pro, a 5.5-inch Android Smartphone. LG has not disclosed the detailed specs but a few, like the phone has a 5.5-inch 1080p display and a quad-core CPU.

Earlier we’ve seen Optimus G Pro image and specs leak. The speculated specs at that time showed that the Optimus G Pro may pack Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, 5-inch 1080p display, quad-core 1.7GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro (APQ8064) processor, 2GB RAM, 13MP rear camera, 2.4MP front facing camera, 32GB internal storage, LTE connectivity, and 3,000 mAh battery. While, LG hasn’t confirmed all the specs, some of it seems to be true. For example, Optimus G Pro has a 1080p display, though the screen size is 0.5-inch bigger than speculated. The phone is confirmed to pack a quad-core CPU, as speculated.

LG has used curved glass in this phone. The company says that the curved glass covering the device creates a 2.5D effect.

LG might launch LG Optimus G Pro in late February. But if you are lucky you might get to test the device during Mobile World Congress 2013 in Barcelona.
