[Tutorial] How To Perform A Hard Reset In Windows 8

If you messed up something in Windows and it wont work normally the first thing you probably do is reinstall entire Windows. Luckily Microsoft thought about this problem too and implemented a very cool feature inside Windows 8 called Hard Reset which will return your computer to normal work without any new Windows installation and in this tutorial I will show you how to use it.

To get started follow steps below

Step 1: First thing what we need to do is bring a Charm menu by pointing your mouse in top right corner of your screen

Step 2: Then click on Settings

Step 3: Now choose the last option Change PC settings

Step 4: Inside left pane select General section and then in right pane scroll down all the way to the bottom

Step 5: Now you have two options to choose; you can either

  • Refresh your PC without affecting your files
  • Remove everything and reinstall Windows

Step 6: If you decided which operation you want to perform (depending on what kind of problems you have in Windows), click on Get started button

You are done! Now simply follow few instructions on your screen and you Windows will be like new, without losing your data or Windows settings. If you want to share your experience with this new feature leave it in comment section below.
