According to sources within Apple’s supply chain partners, Apple has canceled its supply schedule for the iPad 3 in the second half of 2011 because of production constraints for higher-resolution display panels and the iPad 3 is expected to follow in the footsteps of the iPhone 4 and sport a stunning Retina display. Apple iPad 3 will be mass-produced as per original schedule and it requires a bigger backlight, however a singer edge light bar doesn’t comes up to satisfactory levels and this could also delay the launch of Apple’s next iOS tablet……………

UCLA engineers allows LCDs to recycle energy, with photovoltaic polarizers, devices could be powered by sunlight, own backlight. This is most worse thing to losing the charge of smartphone or laptop running down when we have no access to an electrical outlet. But the UCLA Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science could finally help solve the problem. According to the researchers, the traditional LCD polarization process loses as much as 75 percent of light energy something that eats around 80 to 90 percent of the device’s power. HTC has officially opened the doors to HTCDev.com, its new developer portal and the future home for all bootloader unlocking tools and HTCDev consists of guidance and tutorials for coding for HTC smartphones, as well as the HTC OpenSense SDK framework. Blair outlined that the development portal will offer SDK, tutorials, sample code, binaries, kernel source code and specific HTC APIs for use with the EVO 3D, and the HTC Pen SDK.
