Weeks ago, on April 23, we announced that Adobe had finally announced the launch of CS6 as well as its much-touted Creative Cloud. While the launch was back then, the suite has become available only now as Adobe has announced that users can now purchase it.
Today, on May 7th, Adobe has announced that CS6 is finally available for purchase and Windows as well as OS X users can lay their hands on it. A lot of CS users have been eagerly waiting for the launch of Creative Suite 6. The new iteration of the suite comes with a revised version of a number of software that are a part of it.
Including such widely used software as Photoshop and After Effects, it is only natural that the tech world was eagerly waiting for it. Adobe is offering the suits, as well as the revised versions of individual software. The company has offered different price points for different kinds of packages from those suiting professionals to the ones for amateurs and ones which suit people from different industries.
For instance, the license for using Photoshop is $699 while that for the entire collection of 16 apps is $2599. Also, Adobe has announced that the Creative Cloud will go live on May 11th, which means users can start using it on the date.
Creative Cloud may turn out to be a far more preferable, and affordable, option for those who only occasionally need to use Adobe’s software. This is because rather than purchasing an entire license, they can simply pay a monthly fee for using the Cloud. Currently, Adobe is offering professional tools for $49.99 per month.
