As the time approaches for Next Big thing – Windows 8 release, we are getting a lot of buzz about this upcoming Windows Operating version. Now a source close to CNet reported Microsoft will give some offer to Upgrade to Windows 8 for its existing customer. Check the details of this news below.
According to sources Microsoft is preparing to unveil its Windows 8 upgrade program for existing Windows 7 owners. The Windows 8 upgrade program will be made available to those who purchase a desktop or notebook running Windows 7 Home Basic or higher.
Customer of Windows 7 will get coupon for upgrading to Windows 8, and they could use that coupon at windowsupgradeoffer.com (not confirmed from Microsoft). In our earlier post, we mentioned about Windows 8 version details.
No exact upgrade pricing is available yet, but its reportedly will start from June 2nd. Interesting thing is Windows 8 Release Candidate will release on that exact same date and set to expire on January of next year.
Microsoft seems doing this(upgrade to Windows 8) to keep PC/laptop sales flow prior to Windows 8 release. And trying to assure its existing massive user base.
