The specifications released though are all familiar stuff that we have come to expect of tablets running Android Honeycomb. It will have the 1GHz dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 T20 processor that has become almost the de-facto standard of Honeycomb tablets. This when the more powerful 3D-capable T25 processor would have made things all that more breezy with the tablet. The tablet will also have the 1280 x 800 pixel display resolution that’s common in almost all Honeycomb tablets.
The Streak Pro will also have a dual camera set up – a 5 megapixel unit at the back while the front of the tablet will include a 2 megapixel camera. The 261 x 176.4 x 12.9 mm, 720g frame of the tablet will include other features such as WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR along with on-board storage options of 16 GB, 32 GB or 64 GB of flash memory, further expandable by way of SDHC card reader.
The Streak Pro is also expected to be available in a range of color options which includes black, pink, blue, or red, which will look stunning in conjunction with the brushed aluminum back panel. Also, accessories that will be part of the Streak Pro package includes an in-car charger, a “productivity” dock, and a folding cover with an integrated keyboard. The Streak Pro’s will also comes with Dell’s Stage 2.0 software pre-loaded. Expected launch period for the tablet is June 2011.
