The Japanese car maker Nissan has taken robot cars few more steps forward. Few days ago, at CEATEC, Japan’s largest consumer electronics trade show, Nissan unveiled an autonomous electric car, branded as NSC-2015. The car can park itself, can come to its owner automatically when being called, and even warn about burglars.
That’s not all. Drivers can give instructions to the NSC-2015 like starting up and driving itself from the parking spot to him/her through an app via mobile. With the help of this smartphone app, the driver can see the entire space around the car via the car’s cameras. The car can even send warning signals/alarms to its driver when it sees something unusual or unnatural.
From the names, it is being speculated that the car may hit the market in 2015 or 2016.
