Google Rolls Out Android 4.2 With A December-Less People App

Birthdays in the prime of winter may not be the most cheerful of moments, especially if you live in a region where winters are harsh. Apparently, Google wants us to forego of December birthdays altogether as the People app in its Android 4.2 update is completely devoid of ‘December’.

People app bug

Android users had long waited the Android 4.2 update and now that many of them have received it on their mobile devices, they have realized that it contains a bug which wipes the month of December from the calendar of the People app.

Naturally, on an app which is used to set tasks to dates, this is a fairly problematic issue. If you have a knack of relying on People app for scheduling tasks, you may not be able to set up meetings, reach places or attend events by designating them dates through the app. In other words, you will have to let of your People app through the month of December.

Thankfully, Google is aware of the situation and although the company hasn’t revealed what it is doing to resolve it, we do hope that an update will soon be on its way to patch the bug. Meanwhile, try to test your memory for a few days in order not to miss the important events.
