Recently Instagram hits 27 million users milestone and it is a most popular photo sharing app for iOS platform. Instagram expects that they will more success on Android and Mr. Systrom, the apps developers explains it “one of the best Android apps you’ll ever see”. Surely it is says that in the near future, Android users will be able to start sharing images on Instagram.
The most popular app of iOS named Instagram, really coming soon for Android, the apps developers Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger said at a South by Southwest(SXSW).
Instagram is a free photo sharing app and users can share photos with other followers on the app. You can also upload photo and share to social-networking sites like Twitter, Tumblr and Facebook.
According to TechCrunch, Krieger and Systrom said that the people at Google are happy with the way the app is turning out. “I don’t think it took us so long. We just had priorities,” Systrom said. “Had we tried to be both on Android and iPhone at the same time, it would’ve been tough to innovate in the way that we have.”
Unfortunately, specific details of the Instagram for Android version weren’t shared. However, co-founder Mike Kreiger did say that the Google Android team have apparently been impressed by how Instagram “leverages” the OS.
