One Fast Cat: An Exercise Wheel Specially Designed For Cats

Kickstarter has become a most popular and wildly successful crowd-sourcing platform. The site has already featured a number of superb and bizarre successful projects and products. And now there’s a new Kickstarter project called One Fast Cat. The One Fast Cat is actually an exercise wheel for cats.

One Cat Fast - Exercise Wheel For Cats

One Fast Cat is a product that lets cats run on a stationary wheel. It is made of plastic. The actual running surface is four feet wide and is made from closed cell foam, which keeps claws from getting stuck in the device while the cat is moving.

This exercise wheel is created by Sean Farley and has been specially designed to keep cats calm inside home and help them have the feel of spontaneous running as they do outside. The One Fast Cat exercise wheel comes in four colors — pink, green, blue and black. And it costs $199 including shipping expenses.

The One Fast Cat’s product’s website reads, “In nature cats would use their energy to hunt. That hunting requires short bursts of energy, then they’d spend the rest of the time sleeping and grooming so they’ll be ready for the next hunt. Without the need to hunt prey they need other outlets for that pent-up energy. It’s good for cats to get some sort of workout and changing it up to keep them interested is important.”

At present, One Fast Cat exercise wheel makers are running a camping on Kickstarter. Although their target was to collect $10,000 by Aug 7, 2014 (11:11 PM +06:00), as of writing, the team has accumulated $296,846 from 1,553 backers. Do you think One Fast Cat exercise wheel is really a very helpful machine to keep cats calm at home? Do you think it’s worthy enough to make you interested having one for your cute cat? Share your thoughts with us in the comments below.
