Internet Explorer 9 Will Soon Come To Xbox 360 With Kinect Controls

Microsoft has been trying to make Xbox 360 expand its influence from gaming alone to home theater and lot more. Now, the company has some more features up its sleeves which it is planning on launching on its gaming console. For instance, according to reports, Microsoft is currently checking if a modified version of Internet Explorer 9 runs well enough on Xbox 360 or not.

Xbox 360 is already connected to the web through a number of features which have been a part of it for quite some time. For instance, Xbox 360 users can search the web via voice search in Bing but the results that are displayed are confined to media results.

With the availability of Internet Explorer on Xbox 360, the whole experience of using the game console can become very rewarding. Users can hook up to their gaming console and surf the web right from the comfort of their couches.

The best part is that there is a possibility that IE 9 comes to Xbox 360 with pre-added support for Kinect. This means that you will be able to use the browser through your gestures, which will perhaps be the first time for a browser to be navigated this way.
