The hacker behind the SHAtter bootrom exploit, Pod2g has found yet another vulnerability in iOS for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. A tweet made by him shows screenshot of controlled registers of iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. Check out his short tweet after the break.
This is what @Pod2g exactly tweeted about the new untethered vulnerability:
Hey, another untethered vulnerability found ! 🙂 http://twitpic.com/3ujze3
Look at the registers, all are controllable 🙂
It is unclear at the moment whether this exploit will be used in OS 4.2.1 or 4.3. But even if this exploit exist it seems that Pod2g will save it for future release i.e iOS 4.3 as iPhone Dev-Team has already got untethered jailbreak ready for iOS 4.2.1.
