At CES 2011,Sprint has unveiled its third WiMax smartphone, the HTC EVO Shift 4G.The 3 4G devices are going to different carriers, with the HTC Evo Shift 4G headed to Sprint and the Inspire to AT&T (and yes, there is a picture of the T-Mobile G2 on the cover as well no one cares).
The handset runs Android 2.2, is equipped with a 3.6-inch screen, slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 5-megapixel camera with 720 HD video recording, Wi-Fi and the ability to share a WiMAX connection with up to eight WiFi-enabled devices. Sprint will launch the device on Jan. 9 for $149.99, the cheapest price tag for any 4G phone to date, according to International Business Times.
