In the effort that seem designed to get more developers on board, Samsung and Ideaworks are announcing an ongoing partnership to deliver a range of application developer tools and content services. As part of the deal, Ideaworks will initially add SamsungApps support to the latest incarnation of their native development Airplay SDK.
As you may know, the Airplay SDK takes the hassle out of multi-platform development, and in that sense this partnership may end up producing more apps for various Samsung phones, which is definitely a good thing for the Korean giant.
The only problem I have with the press release is that it doesn’t mention which platforms are we talking about? In addition to its feature phone platform, Samsung also makes Windows Mobile, Symbian, Android and Bada handsets.
