Motorola Droid Pro Specification And Updates

Recently Motorola announced about releasing a new Android running powerful device Motorola Droid Pro. Moto Droid Pro’s keyboard feels like Motorola going to release BlackBerry device. But not true, Engadget recently had a conversation with Motorola representative and they found some specification for the Droid Pro.

The Droid Pro’s powered by 1GHz OMAP 3620, with an MDM6600 chipset, 512MB of memory and 2GB of onboard storage, 802.11n 2.4GHz WIFI, Bluetooth 2.1 and tri-band UMTS. There ia a dual LED flash alongside that auto-focus camera, and a programmable key on the side. The first time you press it you will ask what apps you want set with this key. There’s 3G mobile hotspot support for up to five devices. There is also optional 1860mAh extended battery with case. you will have also a desktop charger dock like the Droid and Droid 2 have. The Droid Pro also has the push functionality of Blur even though it isn’t weighed down by the full Blur UI, and supports SD card remote wipes, has spellcheck integrated into the OS and a “multi-headed” VPN client.

So according to Engadget specification this device is so much furnished with all powerful supports. Finally we can added Motorola Droid Pro going to be rocks. About the price and releasing we have some information form other sources like Verizon has not set any pricing data yet, but we expect it might be around $200 under contract by the first week of November.

I love this phone! Purchased it four days ago and dedicated a bit of time to personalizing it for my needs this weekend. If I had to complain about anything it would be the fact that it comes with a 2 gig SD card and not the 16 gig that accompanied my original Droid; a quick and relatively inexpensive fix. It is much faster than the Droid, far more powerful and comes in the phone design I have long since preferred. It meets my work needs with ease and far surpasses my personal usage needs. The step up to Quickoffice was a brilliant move in my opinion. I moved my “draft” articles to the SD card and was able to finalize them and get them to the publisher between meetings! Now how awesome is that?!

Droid phones quickly became my favorite; this one takes the cake!
