Samsung’s first Windows Phone 8 smartphone, dubbed as ATIV S, is now available in some web shops. In U.K., Unlocked-Mobile is taking pre-order for this handset at £424.98 (about €526 or $686). Another UK retailer Clove is taking pre-order for £442.80 and a third retailer named Expansys is taking pre-order for £459.99.
The Samsung ATIV S Windows Phone 8 smartphone comes with a dual-core 1.5 GHz Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB RAM, 16/32GB internal storage, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 1.9-megapixel shooter in front, a 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, DLNA, NFC, and a 2,300 mAh battery.
This handset will be released on December 14 in Canada. Canadian people will get Samsung ATIV S Windows Phone 8 smartphone from Bell and Telus for less than $100 on contract. The global availability of ATIV S will be in February 2013.
