Just a month ago pictures of Nozomi, also nicknamed LT26i, Sony Ericsson’s anticipated new handset surfaced the Internet. At the time, some clear images revealed that the elusive Nozomi will be running on Gingerbread and it will have a 4.3-inch display with a probable resolution of 1280 x 720.
The front camera was also visible, but these were all the information that a curious reporter could deduce from a few pictures. No news about the processor or other inner components, nor details related to price, release date or carrier.
Now a new photo emerged and is briefly presented on Engadget. The technology blog suggests that the photo came from a lucky reader from Hong Kong who already managed to put his hands on Nozomi. The picture first emerged on HKEPC’s forum leakster and other then a beautiful Android smartphone with Sony Ericsson’s logo reveals very little.
The leak doesn’t confirm the dual core processor or the 720 p LCD. There is however a little piece of information hinting that a carrier in Hong Kong might be testing the smartphone on its network.
