Verizon Wireless is offering a great discount on the Palm Pre Plus, which comes on the tail of HP’s recent acquisition of Palm. The phone has been on sale for three months now, and industry watchers are calling this early discount a little hasty. It’s still offered on a long two year contract, but instead of costing $50 upfront, it’s now just $30—that’s not via a rebate either.
This comes after the Pre Plus was initially offered at $150, so it’s a great bargain for the phone that’s described as being essentially the same phone as the Palm Pre, and definitely a capable smartphone, one that people would have no problem using full time.
