The release date for Android Honeycomb Android OS specifically for tablets is anything but definite at this point but there have been two official sightings of a device running a almost finished copy of the OS. All the sightings both are of a Motorola tablet in the 10-inch form-factor. The first sighting came a few day’s ago when Google VP Andy Rubin brought the tablet to D: Dive Into Mobile and the latest sightings comes from a blurry picture (see above) showing the homescreen of the Android Honeycomb device.The person who took the picture managed to get access for long enough to get some key specifications. He said the tablet which he described as ‘pretty light’ runs on a Nvidia Tegra 2 SoC and has the following features a 1280 x 800 display resolution, a gyroscope, dual cameras (5 megapixel rear and a 2 megapixel front), a microSD card slot and 32GB of MMC storage. and there will be a 7-inch and a 10-inch version.
