There have been many rumors regarding a Google Nexus tablet. In fact, recently some very clear hints of the 7-inch tablet surfaced on a benchmarking site, showing off Asus as the vendor of the hardware of this tablet. And now, yet more hints show that Asus may be the one crowned with the creation of this Google tablet.
This time, a number of images of the tablet have purportedly been leaked to the media. Many media sources with ‘inside information’ have claimed for some time that Google is all set to release a 7-inch tablet of its own which will come equipped with a Tegra 3 chip and a Jelly Bean version of the Android.
The images very clearly pins Asus as the partner in the venture with Google. According to the leaked images, the front of the tablet will be white whereas the back will comprise of two tones. The tablet seems to have a number of sensors together with probably both a front camera as well as a rear camera.
The ‘insider’ who leaked the images has yet again claimed that the tablet will feature a quad-core Tegra 3 CPU and probably 1GB of RAM. The tablet looks genuinely decent in the images and may enable Google to finally break into the mini-tablet market, an arena which is still overwhelmingly dominated by Amazon’s Kindle Fire.
