LG Electronics (LGE) will show LGE MeeGo proto devices and present porting experience of MeeGo 1.2 into multiple LG devices and LG will also present how LGE’s works on MeeGo proto devices and how/what LGE will contribute for the future of MeeGo platform……….
LG is planning to detail some of its MeeGo plans and reveal prototype tablets and likely a smartphone too on the third day of the MeeGo Conference in San Francisco, hasn’t been a big player in the MeeGo market but a new reports cite them as having a MeeGo based tablet in the oven. The evidence for such claims come from a screenshot of session details for LGE at the upcoming MeeGo event in San Francisco, California that goes through May 23-25.
The screenshot above has been presented by MeeGoExperts and it states that LGE will have prototype phones and a tablet on display during their session. However if you go and check the official web site for the MeeGo event for session schedules and you look at the one for LGE you see there is no mention of a tablet or phones in the same way the screenshot above states, see it below:
So now the session states prototypes of MeeGo devices will be at the event.LGE has shown they are comfortable with both tablets and smartphones in the past so no sense in doubting they would not at least show some prototypes at the event.LG has already launched their 8.9-inch G-Slate in the US on the 4G network for T-Mobile. The tablet is powered by a dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2 and runs Google Android 3.0 Honeycomb operating system.
