Acer Iconia Tab A500 and ASUS Eee Pad Transformer getting Android 3.1 updates in June and Google announced the new features of Honeycomb 3.1 at its annual Google I/O conference in San Francisco last week, and it looks like both companies will be rolling out an update quickly.Honeycomb device with Honeycomb 3.1 will be getting the new features sooner rather than later and new update brings with it a bevy of features, however aside from USB accessory support the majority of changes are tweaks to the user interface……..


Motorola’s Xoom may have been the first tablet to get a helping of Google’s updated Android 3.1, but ASUS and Acer will be sending out the Android 3.1 update to their Android 3.0 tablets early next month, that means the 10.1-inch ASUS Eee Pad Transformer and the 10.1-inch Acer ICONIA Tab A500.Both  the Iconia Tab A500 and Eee Pad Transformer will be sent an over-the-air update at the beginning of next month.Google Android 3.1 adds the ability to stretch widgets, improves performance, and includes support for USB peripherals.Acer promises an update for that even before the 3.1 rolls out and it support the Transformer’s keyboard dock.The ASUS tablet will get its Android 3.1 update using the usual OTA method, according to a Facebook fan page update made by ASUS Italia and Acer is likely to follow ASUS and Motorola and offer the Android 3.1 update OTA.For more info about Android 3.1, visit.
