Notion Ink‘s Adam tablet was one of the most exciting product from CES 2010 last month. The tablet has gone through several different guises since renders were unveiled in December. The tablet to bring Flash, video output at 1080p resolution, double battery timing than iPad and millions of apps.
The Android-based tablet consists of the latest-generation NVIDIA Tegra chipset and Pixel Qi‘s innovative low-power display. Where, the hardware also can be found in the Apple iPad but thanks to the Tegra’s frugality which increase the life by 2-3x times of Adam slate which is more than iPad.
Notion Ink CEO, Rohan Shravan particularly highlighted the battery life by comparing with the Apple’s iPad that “Up to 10 hours of surfing the web on Wi-Fi, watching video, or listening to music” can be avail only, where Adam tab can manages more than that.
Apparently, The company considering the two different versions of the tablet of 12.9mm and 11.6mm which suggests the two possible display sizes.
Recognizing that despite offering more spec than the iPad they still have a battle on their hands, they’re encouraging development for the Adam with a $1m bounty being put up for creating apps. They haven’t officially announced the competition yet.
